Recently, Betty Hope Gittens, a member of the Board of Directors of The Eldercare Foundation stopped by St. Patrick’s Home to deliver three new iPads! These iPads – in combination with the iPads purchased through our spring fundraising appeal – are being WELL-USED EVERY DAY to facilitate visits between residents and their loved ones, and to broadcast live performances from The Gathering Place to TVs throughout the Home.
As the pandemic stretches on, the opportunity for residents and families to see each other in real time, to chat, and just check in is really invaluable. And providing regular entertainment and engagement programming – via whatever means is possible – becomes even more crucial.
