Making a donation of stock/appreciated securities to St. Patrick’s Home Foundation will allow you to make a significant contribution to a cause that you care about, while benefiting from the elimination of capital gains tax on this stock, and the production of a charitable tax receipt for the fair market value of the securities.

We suggest that you contact your financial advisor of broker to discuss your wishes, options, and the best giving vehicle for you. Then, if you wish to initiate a transfer of securities to St. Patrick’s Home Foundation, have your financial advisor or broker contact us at (613) 731-4660 x. 351 to inform us of your gift, request our charitable registration number, and our Canadian Securities Account Number.

Your advisor can then send us: the name and address of the registered holder; the name, number and approximate value of the shares being transferred; the name, firm and contact information of your advisor/broker.
