Every St. Patrick’s Home Foundation project directly benefits our residents.
Support St. Pat’s at your Next Event
It’s easy to do – and it’s fun
It starts with great idea, and ends with the reward of making a meaningful donation to St. Pat’s. Here’s just a few ways that you can help to enhance the care and the quality of therapeutic and recreational programming.
Plan a barbecue or bake sale
You might be surprised by how much you can raise by organizing a simple barbecue or bake sale, especially if you get the supplies or baked goods donated. Just be sure to let everyone know how their purchase will be supporting St. Pat’s.
Make the most of your next party
In lieu of a hostess gift or a birthday gift, ask guests to make a donation to St. Patrick’s Home Foundation, and let them know why it’s important to you.
Organize a staff “party with a purpose”
This year, turn your annual holiday celebration into a Party with a Purpose by adding a silent auction or raffle that will benefit St. Patrick’s Home.
The Daughters of Penelope raise vital funds for Dementia Training
On June 4, 2019, The Daughters of Penelope, Ottawa Chapter 292 – a local women’s group that promotes education, philanthropy, civic responsibility and Hellenism – held its annual Fashion FUNraiser at Shepherd’s Fashions. This year, all proceeds were directed to St. Patrick’s Home for its innovative DementiAbility program. Several of the Daughters have a parent that lives at St. Pat’s, and honoured them by name during this well-attended, fun event. Thank you to all that attended, baked, shopped, and supported this important Fashion FUNraiser!
