St. Patrick’s Home of Ottawa Foundation is proud to have been selected as a recipient of the LCBO’s Local Donation Box Program, from December 31st, 2017 until January 27th, 2018.

Funds raised through the LCBO’s Donation Box Program will be used to increase the number of residents participating in the Music and Memory program by purchasing additional listening devices and boosting playlists, increasing the number of in-house “music concerts” being held, and the number of one-on-one music therapy sessions offered to individual residents. All of these activities are extremely beneficial in improving residents’ wellness and quality of life, especially those living with dementia and mental health issues.

“We are grateful to have the opportunity to connect with supporters through the LCBO’s Donation Box Program. The funds raised through this initiative will have a big impact on our seniors, and our Music Therapy Program specifically,” said Ruth Catana, Executive Director of St. Patrick’s Home Foundation.
