Leaders ‘N Pearls
Women’s Giving Circle
About Leaders ‘N Pearls
Leaders ‘N Pearls is a philanthropic initiative of St. Patrick’s Home of Ottawa Foundation, bringing together a group of caring, professional, and community-minded women, who are committed to supporting the residents at St. Pat’s.
Our vision is a welcoming and peaceful long-term care home where each one of our 288 residents feels supported and cared for. The women of Leaders ‘N Pearls are a driving force in our community and strongly believe in seeing this vision achieved. Through their collective contributions, they make it happen!
Leaders ‘N Pearls members come together to combine their gifts in order to create the greatest impact by discussing and deciding where to invest. Most recently, the group decided to use their contributions to fund a Social and Community Engagement Program at St. Pat’s, giving residents the opportunity to enjoy social outings and feel more connected to their community.
It has been wonderful to see the joy experienced by residents through their participation in this program. Leaders ‘N Pearls have funded outings to local malls, Tim Horton’s, the Christmas Lights tour, a fishing trip and many others.
“This Women’s Giving Circle, Leaders ‘N Pearls, is dedicated to engaging women of all generations in the power of community philanthropy, directed specifically towards the caring of our seniors. The “pearls” of wisdom shared by our mothers, daughters and grandmothers will be celebrated. Join me and become one of the Founding Members of St. Pat’s Home esteemed Women’s Giving Circle – Leaders ‘N Pearls.”Catherine Shea
